Lydia is currently pursuing a PhD in Wildlife Ecology & Conservation at Wageningen University. The aim is to test the role of different mechanisms of resilience within different populations and communities, using long-term datasets and simulations. She has been involved with Arctic research since 2020, beginning with an internship in Arctic ecosystem ecology. Since 2021, she has had a summer job as a field biologist for Greenland Ecosystem Monitoring, based at Zackenberg Research Station.
