Youri Renkema is a Biology Bachelor student at the Wageningen University & Research with a specialization in Ecology. Additionally, he required knowledge about marine ecology during an exchange program in Aveiro, Portugal. He gained fieldwork experience during his time as a Junior Ecologist regarding bat research. His goal is to become an Arctic ecologist in the near future with Svalbard and polar bears as his main interests.
