📚 The 4th edition of APECS Book Club is here!

 Join us in reading A Woman in the Polar Night, by Christiane Ritter. 

We meet on March 26th at 4PM CET to discuss this powerful memoir that takes us to a remote trapping station in Svalbard in the 1930s. With no prior experience of polar life, Ritter followed her husband into the Arctic and documented her journey through fear, isolation, darkness and wonder.

APECS Book Club is a joint partnership event hosted by APECS Luxembourg, the UK Polar Network and APECS Netherlands. APECS members and ECRs from all other countries are of course welcome to join to read and discuss this book – we look forward to seeing new faces joining us in 2026!
