- 10 April 2023 23:59 GMT – Deadline of CALL FOR APPLICATIONS. APECS and Arctic PASSION Sharing Circle for early career professionals and the Arctic Youth. The Sharing Circle will occur in Sevettijärvi and Inari, Northern Finland, from October 2-6, 2023.
- Thursday, 11 May 2023 – Dutch Polar Symposium at the Museon, the Hague. The deadline for SUBMITTING A TITLE for a POSTER is the 27th of April. See the call in the attachments. There also will be an opportunity for (early career) scientists to plenary present their poster with a short (1 min) pitch talk. The event will be in English.
- 30 April 2023 – Deadline of Symposium paper ABSTRACT CALL for first Critical Arctic Studies Symposium “Post-Human Dialogues: Rethinking Human-Nature Relations in and Through the Arctic.” The event will be held 10-12 October in Rovaniemi, Finland, by the Arctic Centre. Note the call was extended from 31 March to 30 April.
- 30 April 2023, the Deadline for CALL for SESSION SUBMISSIONS at the 16th Polar Law Symposium. The submissions are for lectures, seminars, and workshops. The Symposium is set to take place on the Faroe Islands, Thorshavn, on 26-28 October.
- 2 May 2023, 5-6:30 pm CEST, Arctic Wildlife Migrations & Infectious Diseases. In this webinar, the role of migratory wildlife in the transmission of zoonotic parasites and vector-borne diseases in the Arctic is discussed.
